Resilient Lifescience is developing a solution: a wearable medical device with potential to automatically detect and reverse an opioid overdose.

The Resilient System is designed to use non-invasive sensing technology to detect Opioid-Induced Respiratory Depression (OIRD). Upon detection of OIRD, the device will sound an emergency alarm and automatically delivers naloxone to save the user's life
