Opioid overdose is the #1 killer of Americans under 50. Most of the 80,000 deaths per year occur in isolation, with no chance for a bystander to administer the lifesaving drug naloxone.
The Resilient System Can Help
Disclaimer: This device has not been evaluated or cleared for sale in the United States by the FDA.
Resilient Lifescience is developing a solution: a wearable medical device with potential to automatically detect and reverse an opioid overdose.
The Resilient System is designed to use non-invasive sensing technology to detect Opioid-Induced Respiratory Depression (OIRD). Upon detection of OIRD, the device will sound an emergency alarm and automatically delivers naloxone to save the user's life
